Pizza Művek

Marci, the founder of Pizza Művek, is a longtime friend of ours. We worked together on the brand's logo back in 2023. His idea was to open a pizza place in Budapest with a character of its own and a completely new style of pizza.

That's how Budapest Style pizza was born, drawing inspiration from Detroit-style pan pizza and traditional Hungarian kenyérlángos (flatbread).

Beyond the rectangular pizzas with their thick, airy dough and crispy edges, the brand takes its character from Budapest's old factories, working-class culture and industrial heritage. A distinctly Budapest concept that follows its own path rather than the familiar traditions of Italian pizzerias.

These influences also played a key role in the logo design. One of our main inspirations was the iconic lettering above the entrance to the Csepel Works industrial complex. Drawing on its distinctive character, we created a unique, recognisable logo for Pizza Művek.
